Pat Kirby

Welcome:

The best part of being a realtor is the satisfaction I feel when I help people buy or sell their home. A home is more than bricks and mortar...when you buy a home, you buy into a neighbourhood--its amenities, lifestyle, and future value. I have been selling real estate in Calgary for 29 years and know its neighbourhoods--I have watched many of them being developed. This knowledge helps me find the best house for my client's needs and budget.

Before I list a home, I perform a comprehensive market evaluation to determine the best selling price.

My background:

I was born and raised in Winnipeg. After my marriage to Russ Kirby in 1968, I lived in Ottawa for seven years, and moved to Calgary in 1977. I have two daughters:

Jennifer: 1995 graduate of Mount Allison University (Sackville, New Brunswick); now a financial planner with Kirby Financial Group in Calgary.

Andrea: 1998 graduate of University of Alberta (Edmonton); after travelling and teaching in Southeast Asia, is now finishing her MBA while working at the Segal School of Business of the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.
My hobbies include curling, gardening, reading, and spending summer vacations at our cottage in Manitoba.

I donate a portion of my commission of each real estate transaction to the Royal Lepage Shelter Foundation which assists in the development of safe shelters for abused women and children.
